How long does it take to go around on the Melbourne Star?

I have heard that the new tourist attraction in the city of Melbourne is the Melbourne Star Wheel which spins around and gives you great views over the city. However does anyone know how long this wheel ride takes so that I can plan my time wisely, as I only have a limited amount of free time whilst staying in the city.

I believe that it takes approximately 30 minutes to do a full rotation on the Melbourne Star. This obviously does not include the time it takes to buy your tickets and queue up for the ride and this can take a while especially during peak periods, so it may be wise to book your tickets online in order to save time queuing up.
