How can I find places to stay for more than a week?

I have been looking around on the internet for more than a week now and am having lots of trouble finding a site that shows me a variety of different places to stay for more than a week. We are a family of 5 (2 adults and 3 young kids) and really need a holiday destination that is family friendly and accommodation that has affordable weekly rates.

Can anyone please help me find properties anywhere in Australia that have cheap rates for more than 7 nights.

What you will need to do is to search the internet for appropriate keywords like "weekly holiday accommodation" or "long term holiday apartments" and this way you will be more likely to find the right website that has all of the deals for you. You may also want to throw in the word "affordable" or "budget" to ensure that you get a website that only deals in cheap holiday accommodation.

When our family recently went for a Queensland holiday we found lots of great weekly accommodation deals on wesites such as www.not1night.com.au and www.queenslandholidays.com.au. These websites not only had plenty of places to stay but also provided you with cheaper rates if you stay more than 7 nights.

Try looking through the travel section of the Sunday paper, which has some great holiday deals for Australia and abroad.
