Which part of the Great Barrier Reef is the best place to visit?

I have heard that the Great Barrier Reef is extremely large and that there are numerous different sections to it, each with their own unique coral formations and marine life. So can anyone please tell me which is the best part of the Great Barrier Reef to visit.
